“Raised on a Battlefield” conveys the feelings following the escape of emotional and physically abusive households, the sensation of still being wrapped in overbearing arms.
Inspiration comes from personal life experiences and tells the story of my journey through destruction, stress, and trauma conveyed through the clothing in physical and metaphorical ways.

Inspired by the circus stunt ‘Globe of Death’ as well as fencing, I created an asymmetrical lightweight jacket. A green selvedge denim is used for the body to portrary that roughness.
Born from recycled materials, the ensemble Armored Ascension was created with the use of cardboard, hot glue, and a repurposed military backpack.
